If you are new to sauna bathing, we would advise that you start off with short sessions of sauna bathing (5-7 minutes) on a lower-level bench and slowly build up to a longer session and sitting on a higher bench.
Keep an eye on the thermometer and clock in the sauna room. In between sauna bathing intervals, make sure you stay hydrated, you can relax on our benches taking in the countryside/mountain views, go for a little wonder, pour water over yourself or even take a cold shower before coming back for another sauna session. Spend no more than 10-15 minutes in the sauna at any one time – Leave the sauna if you start to feel uncomfortable, nauseous, dizzy or lightheaded. We advise to keep sessions between 5-15 minutes. It isn’t a competition to stay in as long as you can.
